Gallura, situated in the north east of Sardinia, is known worldwide for its tourism and is a charming hilly region ideally suited to wine production: it is in this area that the Cooperative Wine Cellar Giogantinu was established. “Giogantinu” takes its name after a distinctive local mountain with a camel-hump shaped double granite promontory.

The Cooperative Wine Cellar Giogantinu was established on as a member-run cooperative on 13 July 1955. The lands used for cultivation of grapes are for the most part located in the area of Berchidda and Oschiri.
The original group of founding members has been enlarged over time and today is made up of approximately 250 partners dedicated to a single core value: Working land and grape with passion, love and care.
